Sawing a woman in half and passing a solid hoop around a pretty assistant, while apparently floating her in mid-air, are old effects. In Phillip's show, he takes a member from your audience to perform these same illusions. You will see fire eating . . . when he can get away with performing it, doves using your audience for newspaper targets, a dancing marionette transformed into a woman, and much more audience participation than you can imagine.
Young audiences are best entertained by an adult who still acts like a kid at heart while at the same time, maintaining a professional rapport throughout the show. Phillip has been performing a guaranteed hour of fun, laughter, audience participation and balloon sculpturing for over three decades. With his self-contained sound system, curtains and limited lighting, Phillip is able to create theatrical magic in any library, museum, school or community center.
"Drugs are No Illusion" presentation is a dramatic comedy oriented magic show that illustrates how victims (students and teacher volunteers) of drug use may actually lose their "heads". The show covers alcohol, tobacco, crack-cocaine, hallucinogens, needles as well as resisting peer pressure.
Appropriate for grades 1 - 8.
A family oriented magic show is just that, a show for all ages; a show where adults would share in the fun and excitement just as much as the kids would enjoy seeing them entertained as well. Grand Illusion shows are big, theatrical productions that Phillip often performs with beautiful showgirls, levitations, transformation and special effects. This show is an event by its self and is suitable for theatres, concerts, gala fundraising, cable and network TV.
A popular addition to Phillip Jennings' magic show is Jerome Benton's "Laser Face the New Age Mime". He performs to popular music and combines a unique blend of juggling, mime and puppetry. If you watch Jerome closely, you will see many intense colors of red, green and yellow illuminating from his face and hands. Jerome's show is excellent for all ages, especially the hearing impaired.
